Frequently Asked Questions

No, the shuttle bus is free for employees that work in any of our property buildings that we service or Parkside Square residents. Your property management has covered the cost of operating the shuttle bus to allow you and other members in the building to use the shuttle bus.

Boarding the shuttle bus is first-come/first-serve to the vehicle’s capacity. Additional passengers can re-queue for the next scheduled bus.

Additionally, follow us on Instagram at @pointa_official and sign up for our email alert here. We try our best to inform people of any shuttle bus issues that may arise.

During the morning and evenings, the shuttle bus arrives at TTC Don Mills Station – Passenger Pick-Up. This is located at the south entrance of Fairview Mall by Sheppard Avenue East.

During the afternoon/lunch time, the shuttle bus arrives at Fairview Mall – Gate 6. This spot can be found at the north end of Fairview Mall, close to Shoppers Drug Mart and Cineplex.

Please arrive 2-3 minutes prior to the bus schedule time.

Many people are allowed to ride on the shuttle bus. However, there are some limitations. Due to the design of the bus, we cannot have strollers on the bus. As well, child car seats cannot be boarded on the bus.

The shuttle bus is also not designed to be wheelchair accessible or to safely handle users with mobility support devices.

Children are allowed but must meet the following requirements:

  • The child must be over 40 inches tall (1 metre)
  • Be accompanied by a parent or guardian at all times
  • Be able to set up under their own power in the seat beside their caregiver

Pets are not allowed except for service animals. If you are bringing a service animal on the bus, the shuttle bus driver reserves the right to ask for your documentation.

Large suitcases and oversized baggage cannot be boarded on the shuttle bus (think of anything that would not pass as a carry-on baggage). This is due to safety concerns that if an accident occurred, a large suitcase or oversized baggage could cause severe injuries.

Riders are permitted to eat and drink on the shuttle bus. However, please be respectful and mindful of other riders and ensure you do not leave behind any litter.

The bus has 24 seats but can allow for 6 more people to stand, allowing for a maximum of 30 people. However, no one is allowed to stand on the Gordon Baker Road shuttle bus because the route travels on the highway.

If you have lost an item in one of our shuttle buses, please contact us immediately at jhan@pointa.ca and info@pointa.ca. We will follow up with you within one business day.
