Parkway Place recognized an opportunity to shape the future of workplace commuting through the BWC Program. Parkway Place sees this designation as a strategic move to improve the commuting experience for its occupants, and thereby impacting occupant commute time, money spent, job satisfaction and overall wellbeing. Parkway Place offers several commuter benefits and support initiatives, including:
- Secure bicycle parking, lockers, racks, or cages;
- Electric vehicle charging stations;
- Member of a Transportation Management Association (TMA);
- First mile and last mile connection.
Parkway Place, owned by Avenu Properties Corp. and managed by Jones Lang LaSalle Real Estate Services, Inc. (JLL) highlights substantial progress in key areas, including carbon emissions, green buildings, and climate resilience in their 2022 Environmental, Social and Governance (ESG) Report. JLL’s global goal of reducing absolute scope 1, 2 and 3 emissions by 95% by 2040, with a 51% reduction by 2030, sets the stage for Parkway Place’s commitment to reducing its environmental impact.
